U.S. Marines Raise Texas Flag over Iraqi Port City
Message to Saddam: Don't Mess with Texas, Umm Qasr


UMM QASR, IRAQ (WI) — Shortly after American soldiers surrounded and captured the Iraqi port city of Umm Qasr, Marines were photographed raising a Texas flag over the city.

The flag raising is meant to send a symbolic message to Saddam Hussein: Don't Mess with Texas, Umm Qasr, or the greater Basra metropolitan area.

As U.S. Military personnel continue to disarm and sort out surrendering Iraqi soldiers, additional changes are already being made in Iraqi towns.

"Per an order directly from the Commander in Chief, we have installed an electric chair and already executed over two hundred Texas death row inmates," explained Gen. Tommy Franks, head of the U.S. Central Command. "The Army Corps of Engineers has also started construction on three gun shops, two Wal-Marts and a drive-thru liquor store."

U.S. military commander are expecting that, by week's end, even more Texas-style warnings will be sent to Saddam's dying regime, including: Don't Mess with Nasiriya, Don't Mess with Karbala, and eventually Don't Mess with Baghdad.

Im sitting here on the computer tonight watching CNN and the stories of the Americans that are dead or captured, we are 50 miles from the capitol and someone said that they would use chemical weapons that they supposedly dont have. Im no general but we should bring it all to baghdad and the minute the chemical weapons are used we should use fuel air bombs and then 24 hours of b52 bombing right on top of the republican guard. and then cluster bomb whats left. There is no way in hell that iraq can resist the full focused might of the uk us and australians. Have the families of the dead and captured in your prayers they fight for all our freedom and die for the freedom that they will afford their very killers.

Well here is the first post following the start of moving time for Saddam, Well I for one am impressed that saddam got hauled out of his bunker on a stretcher and survived a 60 million dollar assasination attempt, what we should have done is go over there and drop off a car jacker from the hood he could have shot saddam and stole his ride no sweat. Thats it we are starting to lose soldiers. Its time to quit playing around and get serious, the only thing we should do is turn iraq into a paid parking lot kinda like we have in downtown Ft.Worth.. I think we should build a 1000 screen drive in and a 100,000 spot paid parking lot, and turn the rest into a drive in wildlife park. Or better yet we build a big ass fence around it and put all the Palestinians in it and they can call it home. I really loved watching the iraqis shooting into the water at imaginary pilots the whole city was there for the show. Hmmm... have you been to six flags over texas lately? Im telling you entertainment is getting out of hand. I spent half of the gross domestic product of a third world nation out there. The worst thing about the whole experience is that unlike when I was a kid now I cant fit in the damn rides. After one ride on the texas giant I needed hip replacement surgery. If six flags wanted to make a ton of money they would put a chiropractors booth outside of the rides, screw the pictures.
